Special District Local Laws Code § 1116.251","heading":"IMPOSITION OF AD VALOREM TAX.","body":"(a) The board shall impose a tax on all property in the district subject to district taxation.\n(b) The tax may be used only to:\n(1) pay the interest on and create a sinking fund for bonds issued under this chapter;\n(2) provide for the operation and maintenance of the district and the hospital system;\n(3) make improvements and additions to the hospital system; and\n(4) acquire sites for additions to the hospital system.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
