Special District Local Laws Code § 1117.109","heading":"CONTRACTS WITH GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES FOR CARE AND TREATMENT.","body":"The board may contract with:\n(1) any county or municipality located outside the district for the care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county or municipality; and\n(2) this state or a federal agency for the treatment of a sick, disabled, or injured person for whom the state or the federal government is responsible.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
