Special District Local Laws Code § 21.102","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS FROM ANNEXED COUNTY.","body":"(a) The commissioners court of an annexed county shall appoint two directors to serve on the board.\n(b) The newly appointed directors shall draw lots to determine their initial terms of office. One new director shall serve an initial term that coincides with the terms of directors that expire before the expiration of two years and the other new director shall serve a term that expires after the expiration of two years but before the expiration of four years.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.01, eff.
