The district may enter into a contract under Section 21.251 that requires an expenditure of more than $15,000 only after competitive bidding as provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 271, Local Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2009.\nA contract under Section 21.251 must contain, or have attached to it, the specifications, plans, and details for work included in the contract.
