Special District Local Laws Code § 21.408","heading":"REFUNDING BONDS.","body":"(a) The board may issue refunding bonds to refund outstanding indebtedness issued or assumed by the district.\n(b) A refunding bond may be:\n(1) sold, with the proceeds of the refunding bond applied to the payment of the bonds to be refunded; or\n(2) exchanged wholly or partly for not less than a similar principal amount of outstanding indebtedness.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.01, eff.
