Special District Local Laws Code § 3503.1015","heading":"ADDITIONAL POWERS OF OTHER ENTITIES; BONDS.","body":"The authority may exercise the powers given to:\n(1) the governing body of a \"unit,\" as defined by Section 501.002(17), Local Government Code, and may issue district bonds for a purpose specified by Subtitle C1, Title 12, Local Government Code;\n(2) an emergency services district under Chapter 775, Health and Safety Code; or\n(3) a rural or urban transit district under Chapter 458, Transportation Code.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 998 (S.B. 1743), Sec. 1, eff.
