Special District Local Laws Code § 3804.006","heading":"ELIGIBILITY FOR REINVESTMENT ZONES.","body":"(a) All or any part of the area of the district is eligible to be included in:\n(1) a tax increment reinvestment zone created by the City of Sugar Land under Chapter 311, Tax Code; or\n(2) a tax abatement reinvestment zone created by the City of Sugar Land under Chapter 312, Tax Code.\n(b) A taxing unit participating in a tax increment reinvestment zone created by a municipality or county may continue to enter into a tax abatement agreement.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff.
