Special District Local Laws Code § 3807.052","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) The mayor and members of the governing body of the City of Houston shall appoint directors from persons recommended by the board.\n(b) Appointments to the board must ensure that at least one-third of the directors are residents of the district.\n(c) Repealed by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 275, Sec. 2, eff.
