Special District Local Laws Code § 3809.051","heading":"BOARD OF DIRECTORS; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of 17 directors who serve staggered terms of four years with eight directors' terms expiring June 1 of an odd-numbered year and nine directors' terms expiring June 1 of the following odd-numbered year.\n(b) A director shall receive compensation as provided by Section 49.060, Water Code.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff.
