Special District Local Laws Code § 3818.051","heading":"COMPOSITION; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of 12 directors.\n(b) The commission appoints the directors to positions numbered 1 through 12.\n(c) Directors serve staggered four-year terms.\n(d) The commission shall appoint directors from persons recommended by the board.\n(e) The board by resolution may change the number of directors on the board, but only if the board determines that the change is in the best interest of the district.
