Special District Local Laws Code § 3818.052","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.","body":"(a) A director must meet the requirements provided by Section 375.063, Local Government Code.\n(b) Repealed by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 889, Sec. 11(1), eff. June 19, 2009.\n(c) A person who owns a partnership interest, whether general or limited, or who has a lease with a remaining term of 30 years or more, excluding options, is considered to be an owner of land for purposes of this chapter.\n(d) A person who qualifies to serve on the board is qualified to serve as a director and participate in all votes pertaining to the business of the district.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
