Special District Local Laws Code § 3820.051","heading":"COMPOSITION; TERMS.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (c), the district is governed by a board of 31 voting directors appointed under Section 3820.052 and nonvoting directors as provided by Section 3820.053.\n(b) Voting directors serve staggered terms of four years, with 15 or 16 directors' terms expiring June 1 of each odd-numbered year.\n(c) The board by resolution may decrease the number of directors on the board if the board finds it is in the best interest of the district.
