Special District Local Laws Code § 3826.152","heading":"ELECTIONS REGARDING TAXES OR BONDS.","body":"(a) The district must hold an election in the manner provided by Chapters 49 and 54, Water Code, to obtain voter approval before the district imposes a maintenance tax or issues bonds payable from ad valorem taxes.\n(b) The board may include more than one purpose in a single proposition at an election.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
