Special District Local Laws Code § 3828.052","heading":"ELIGIBILITY.","body":"To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years of age and:\n(1) reside in the district;\n(2) own real property in the district;\n(3) own at least 10 percent of the outstanding interest of a corporation or general or limited partnership that owns real property in the district; or\n(4) be an agent, employee, officer, or director of a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership that owns real property in the district.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
