Special District Local Laws Code § 3830.052","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS.","body":"(a) To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years old and:\n(1) an owner of property subject to assessment by the district;\n(2) an owner of a beneficial interest in a trust that owns property subject to assessment by the district; or\n(3) an agent, employee, or tenant nominated by a person described in Subdivision (1) or (2).\n(b) Section 375.063, Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
