Special District Local Laws Code § 3831.107","heading":"COMPETITIVE BIDDING.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), Section 375.221, Local Government Code, applies to the district.\n(b) Section 375.221, Local Government Code, does not apply to a contract between the district and:\n(1) another governmental entity;\n(2) a nonprofit corporation, including a scientific research corporation; or\n(3) a corporation created under the Development Corporation Act (Subtitle C1, Title 12, Local Government Code).\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
