Special District Local Laws Code § 3831.110","heading":"PROGRAMS.","body":"(a) The district may establish and provide for the administration of one or more programs to:\n(1) promote state or local economic development; and\n(2) stimulate business and commercial activity in the district that relates to a project.\n(b) As part of a program, the district may:\n(1) make loans or grants of public money for a public purpose as provided by Section 52-a, Article III, Texas Constitution; or\n(2) provide district personnel and services for the program.\n(c) The district may contract with any person to administer a program established under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
