Special District Local Laws Code § 3833.052","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS.","body":"(a) To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to vote in the:\n(1) city, if fewer than 1,000 individuals reside in the district; or\n(2) district, if 1,000 or more individuals reside in the district.\n(b) A change in the number of individuals who reside in the district does not affect a director's entitlement to serve out the remainder of the director's term.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 468 (S.B. 1892), Sec. 1, eff.
