Special District Local Laws Code § 3846.251","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Governing body\" means the board of directors of a development zone.\n(2) \"Project\" means the development or construction of a building, structure, facility, or other improvement on a parcel or tract in a development zone, or an expansion, enlargement, replacement, or relocation of a building, structure, facility, or other improvement in a development zone. The term includes a contractual obligation to reimburse a developer for money spent by the developer in the construction, development, expansion, enlargement, replacement, or relocation of a building, structure, facility, or other improvement in a development zone.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 87 (S.B. 1969), Sec. 21.036, eff.
