Special District Local Laws Code § 3853.052","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) The mayor and members of the governing body of the City of Dickinson shall appoint voting directors from persons recommended by the board. A person is appointed if a majority of the members of the governing body, including the mayor, vote to appoint that person.\n(b) Section 375.063, Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 458 (S.B. 1866), Sec. 1, eff.
