Special District Local Laws Code § 3854.205","heading":"FINANCING IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS OR SERVICES.","body":"(a) The district may finance the cost of any authorized improvement project or service in the manner provided by any law that applies to the district.\n(b) A petition under Section 375.114 or 375.243, Local Government Code, is not required for the board to levy a tax, assessment, or impact fee to finance improvement projects and services under this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.02, eff.
