Special District Local Laws Code § 3855.051","heading":"GOVERNING BODY; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of seven voting directors who serve staggered terms of four years, with three or four directors' terms expiring June 1 of each odd-numbered year.\n(b) The board by resolution or the governing body of the city by resolution or ordinance may change the number of voting directors on the board, but only if the board determines that the change is in the best interest of the district. The board may not consist of fewer than five or more than 15 voting directors.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1092 (H.B. 4798), Sec. 1, eff.
