Special District Local Laws Code § 3855.052","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) The mayor and members of the governing body of the city shall appoint voting directors from persons recommended by the board. A person is appointed if a majority of the members of the governing body, including the mayor in case of a tie, vote to appoint that person.\n(b) Section 375.063(2), Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1092 (H.B. 4798), Sec. 1, eff.
