Special District Local Laws Code § 3855.103","heading":"AGREEMENTS; GRANTS.","body":"(a) The district may make an agreement with or accept a gift, grant, or loan from any person.\n(b) The implementation of a project is a governmental function or service for the purposes of Chapter 791, Government Code.\n(c) The board may enter into a contract with the board of directors of a tax increment reinvestment zone created under Chapter 311, Tax Code, and the governing body of the municipality or county that created the zone to manage the zone or implement the project plan and reinvestment zone financing plan.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1092 (H.B. 4798), Sec. 1, eff.
