Special District Local Laws Code § 3855.154","heading":"FINANCING OF PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM OR PARKING FACILITIES.","body":"(a) The district may use any of its resources, including revenue, assessments, sales and use taxes, or grant or contract proceeds, to pay the cost of acquiring or operating a public transit system or public parking facilities.\n(b) The district may:\n(1) set, charge, impose, and collect fees, charges, or tolls for the use of the public transit system or the public parking facilities; and\n(2) issue bonds or notes to finance the cost of these facilities.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1092 (H.B. 4798), Sec. 1, eff.
