Special District Local Laws Code § 3861.057","heading":"COMPENSATION; EXPENSES.","body":"(a) The district may compensate each director in an amount not to exceed $50 for each board meeting. The total amount of compensation per director per year may not exceed $2,000.\n(b) A director is entitled to reimbursement for necessary and reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of a director.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 531 (S.B. 919), Sec. 1, eff.
