Special District Local Laws Code § 3868.057","heading":"COMPENSATION; EXPENSES.","body":"(a) The district may compensate each director in an amount not to exceed $150 for each board meeting. The total amount of compensation a director may receive each year may not exceed $6,000. A director who is an employee of the town may not receive compensation under this subsection.\n(b) A director is entitled to reimbursement for necessary and reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of a director.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1190 (H.B. 3819), Sec. 1, eff.
