Special District Local Laws Code § 3871.051","heading":"GOVERNING BODY; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of nine directors composed of:\n(1) six directors appointed by the governing body of the city; and\n(2) three city employees appointed by the governing body of the city.\n(b) Directors serve staggered terms of four years, with four or five directors' terms expiring July 1 of each odd-numbered year.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1067 (H.B. 4720), Sec. 1, eff.
