Special District Local Laws Code § 3871.058","heading":"CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.","body":"(a) A director, including a director who qualifies under Section 3871.053(a)(2), (3), (4), or (5), may participate in all board votes and decisions if the director complies with the requirements of Subsection (b).\n(b) A director shall comply with Section 171.004, Local Government Code, including the disclosure and abstention requirements of that section. A director must file a copy of the director's disclosure affidavit required by Section 171.004, Local Government Code, with the city's secretary before participating in a board discussion or vote.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1067 (H.B. 4720), Sec. 1, eff.
