Special District Local Laws Code § 3874.051","heading":"GOVERNING BODY; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of nine directors composed of:\n(1) six directors appointed by the governing body of the city;\n(2) one assistant city manager of the city, appointed by the city manager;\n(3) the chief financial officer of the city; and\n(4) the economic director of the city.\n(b) Directors serve staggered terms of four years, with four or five directors' terms expiring July 1 of each odd-numbered year.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 586 (S.B. 2466), Sec. 1, eff.
