Special District Local Laws Code § 3897.165","heading":"MISCELLANEOUS DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND MAINTENANCE.","body":"An improvement project may include the planning, design, construction, improvement, and maintenance of:\n(1) landscaping;\n(2) highway right-of-way or transit corridor beautification and improvement;\n(3) lighting, banners, and signs;\n(4) a street or sidewalk;\n(5) a hiking and cycling path or trail;\n(6) a pedestrian walkway, skywalk, crosswalk, or tunnel;\n(7) a park, lake, garden, recreational facility, community activities center, dock, wharf, sports facility, open space, scenic area, or related exhibit or preserve;\n(8) a fountain, plaza, or pedestrian mall; or\n(9) a drainage or storm water detention improvement.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 656 (S.B. 1184), Sec. 1, eff.
