Special District Local Laws Code § 3901.104","heading":"AUTHORITY FOR ROAD PROJECTS.","body":"Under Section 52, Article III, Texas Constitution, the district may own, operate, maintain, design, acquire, construct, finance, issue bonds, notes, or other obligations for, improve, and convey to this state, a county, or a municipality, for ownership, operation, and maintenance, macadamized, graveled, or paved roads or improvements, including storm drainage, in aid of those roads.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 861 (H.B. 3842), Sec. 1, eff.
