Special District Local Laws Code § 3902.056","heading":"COMPENSATION; EXPENSES.","body":"(a) The board may compensate each director in an amount not to exceed $50 for each board meeting. The total amount of compensation for each director in a calendar year may not exceed $2,000.\n(b) A director is entitled to reimbursement for actual expenses reasonably and necessarily incurred while engaging in activities on behalf of the district under a policy established by the board.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1195 (H.B. 3859), Sec. 1, eff.
