Special District Local Laws Code § 3906.164","heading":"MISCELLANEOUS DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND MAINTENANCE.","body":"An improvement project may include the planning, design, construction, improvement, and maintenance of:\n(1) a project or service listed in Section 375.112(a)(1), Local Government Code;\n(2) highway right-of-way or transit corridor beautification and improvement;\n(3) a hiking and cycling path or trail;\n(4) a pedestrian walkway;\n(5) a garden, community activities center, dock, wharf, sports facility, open space, or related exhibit or preserve; or\n(6) a bulkhead or other improvement designed to prevent erosion.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1269 (S.B. 1922), Sec. 1, eff.
