Special District Local Laws Code § 3911.052","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS.","body":"(a) To be qualified to serve as a director appointed by the governing body of the city, a person must be:\n(1) a resident of the district who is also a registered voter of the city;\n(2) an owner of property in the district; or\n(3) an agent, employee, or tenant of a person described by Subdivision (2).\n(b) Section 49.052, Water Code, does not apply to the district.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 587 (H.B. 3852), Sec. 1, eff.
