Special District Local Laws Code § 3911.155","heading":"WATER; EXCEPTION.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), an improvement project may include a supply and distribution facility or system to provide potable and nonpotable water to the residents and businesses of the district, including a wastewater collection facility.\n(b) The district may not engage in the business of wholesale or retail sale of potable water or the wholesale or retail collection and treatment of wastewater.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 587 (H.B. 3852), Sec. 1, eff.
