Special District Local Laws Code § 3917.109","heading":"APPROVAL BY CITY.","body":"(a) The district must obtain the approval of the city for:\n(1) the issuance of bonds; and\n(2) the plans and specifications of an improvement project related to the use of land owned by the city, an easement granted to the city, or a right-of-way of a street, road, or highway.\n(b) The district may not issue bonds until the governing body of the city adopts a resolution or ordinance authorizing the issuance of the bonds.\n(c) The governing body of the city:\n(1) is not required to adopt a resolution or ordinance to approve plans and specifications described by Subsection (a); and\n(2) may establish an administrative process to approve plans and specifications described by Subsection (a) without the involvement of the governing body.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 832 (S.B. 1884), Sec. 1, eff.
