Special District Local Laws Code § 3919.005","heading":"INITIAL DISTRICT TERRITORY.","body":"(a) The district is initially composed of the territory described by Section 4 of the Act enacting this chapter.\n(b) The boundaries and field notes contained in Section 4 of the Act enacting this chapter form a closure. A mistake in the field notes or in copying the field notes in the legislative process does not affect the district's:\n(1) organization, existence, or validity;\n(2) right to contract;\n(3) authority to borrow money or issue bonds or other obligations described by Section 3919.203 or to pay the principal and interest of the bonds or other obligations;\n(4) right to impose or collect an assessment or collect other revenue; or\n(5) legality or operation.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1308 (H.B. 3914), Sec. 3, eff.
