Special District Local Laws Code § 3933.154","heading":"IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND SERVICE IN DEFINABLE AREAS.","body":"The district may undertake an improvement project or service that confers a special benefit on one or more definable areas in the district that share a common characteristic or use and levy and collect a special assessment on benefited property in the district in accordance with:\n(1) Chapter 372, Local Government Code; or\n(2) Chapter 375, Local Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1239 (H.B. 4155), Sec. 1, eff.
