Special District Local Laws Code § 3937.158","heading":"COSTS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.","body":"The district may undertake separately or jointly with other persons, including the county, all or part of the cost of an improvement project, including an improvement project:\n(1) for improving, enhancing, and supporting public safety and security, fire protection and emergency medical services, and law enforcement in or adjacent to the district; or\n(2) that confers a general benefit on the entire district or a special benefit on a definable part of the district.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 879 (H.B. 4158), Sec. 1, eff.
