Special District Local Laws Code § 3938.058","heading":"COMPENSATION; EXPENSES.","body":"(a) The district may compensate each director in an amount not to exceed $50 for each board meeting. The total amount of compensation a director may receive each year may not exceed $2,000.\n(b) A director is entitled to reimbursement for necessary and reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the board.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 982 (H.B. 4154), Sec. 1, eff.
