Special District Local Laws Code § 3943.0105","heading":"INITIAL DISTRICT TERRITORY.","body":"(a) The district is composed of the territory described by Section 2 of the Act enacting this chapter.\n(b) The boundaries and field notes of the district contained in Section 2 of the Act enacting this chapter form a closure. A mistake in the field notes or in copying the field notes in the legislative process does not in any way affect the district's:\n(1) organization, existence, or validity;\n(2) right to contract;\n(3) authority to issue any type of bond for a purpose for which the district is created or to pay the principal of and interest on the bond;\n(4) right to impose or collect a fee or tax or collect other revenue; or\n(5) legality or operation.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 561 (S.B. 1835), Sec. 1, eff.
