Special District Local Laws Code § 3943.0406","heading":"SPECIAL OR SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES.","body":"An improvement project may include a special or supplemental service for the improvement and promotion of the district or for the protection of public health and safety in the district, including:\n(1) tourism;\n(2) elimination of traffic congestion;\n(3) health, sanitation, public safety, and security;\n(4) recreational, educational, or cultural improvements, enhancements, and services; and\n(5) advertising, promotion, and business recruitment.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 561 (S.B. 1835), Sec. 1, eff.
