Special District Local Laws Code § 3952.257","heading":"COSTS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.","body":"The district may undertake separately or jointly with other persons, including the city or county, all or part of the cost of an improvement project, including an improvement project:\n(1) for improving, enhancing, and supporting public safety and security, fire protection and emergency medical services, and law enforcement in and adjacent to the district; or\n(2) that confers a general benefit on the entire district or a special benefit on a definable part of the district.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 645 (H.B. 4347), Sec. 1, eff.
