Special District Local Laws Code § 3976.0204","heading":"VACANCY.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), if a vacancy occurs on the board, the remaining directors shall appoint a director for the remainder of the unexpired term.\n(b) If a vacancy occurs in the office of the director appointed by the city, the city shall appoint a director for the remainder of the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1253 (H.B. 4637), Sec. 1, eff.
