Special District Local Laws Code § 3992.0203","heading":"VACANCY.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), if a vacancy occurs on the board, the remaining directors shall appoint a director for the remainder of the unexpired term.\n(b) If a vacancy occurs in the position of the board member appointed by the city, the city shall appoint a director for the remainder of the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 988 (H.B. 4605), Sec. 1, eff.
