Special District Local Laws Code § 4020.0302","heading":"IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND SERVICES.","body":"(a) The district, using any money available to the district for the purpose, may provide, design, construct, acquire, improve, relocate, operate, maintain, or finance an improvement project or service authorized under a development agreement described by Section 4020.0108, under this chapter, or under Chapter 375, Local Government Code.\n(b) The district may contract with a governmental or private entity to carry out an action under Subsection (a).\n(c) The implementation of a district project or service is a governmental function or service for the purposes of Chapter 791, Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1056 (H.B. 5658), Sec. 1, eff.
