Special District Local Laws Code § 5001.021","heading":"COMMISSION; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a commission consisting of five elected commissioners.\n(b) Commissioners serve staggered four-year terms of office, with two or three commissioners' terms expiring January 1 of each odd-numbered year.\n(c) One commissioner is elected from each Aransas County commissioners precinct and one commissioner is elected from the district at large.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 436 (S.B. 1953), Sec. 3, eff.
