Special District Local Laws Code § 5004.057","heading":"COMPENSATION; EXPENSES.","body":"(a) A director may not be paid for services as a director or as a member of a committee authorized by the board.\n(b) A director may be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred by the director in performing a service for the district but only from money raised in the director's county of residence.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.04, eff.
