Special District Local Laws Code § 5007.208","heading":"FILING OF FINANCIAL STATEMENT BY PORT COMMISSIONERS.","body":"(a) A port commissioner shall file the financial statement required of state officers under Subchapter B, Chapter 572, Government Code, with:\n(1) the authority; and\n(2) the Texas Ethics Commission.\n(b) Subchapter B, Chapter 572, Government Code:\n(1) applies to a port commissioner subject to this section as if the port commissioner were a state officer; and\n(2) governs the contents of, timeliness of filing, public inspection of, and civil and criminal penalties relating to a statement filed under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 139 (H.B. 1642), Sec. 5, eff.
